- Tranquility Lodge, Rooibokspruit, Baltimore, Limpopo, South Africa.
- Most of the hunts will take place on the Ranch at Rooibokspruit where possible. Alternatively, we will make use of various concession ranches in the surrounding area where the hunts will take place. We have more than 200 000ha available to hunt from.
- Lodging is provided in our 4x fully Equipped Air-Conditioned Chalets with en-suit bathroom (each can sleep 2 hunters/observers – 1x queen bed, 1x single bed), where we will ensure you are cozy and comfortable to feel right at home.
- We can accommodate a maximum of 4x hunters and 4x observers at a time.
- Our main hunting season is between March till September with cool temperatures in the morning, 40 degrees, and warming up in the middle of the day to 80 degrees, cooling down in the evenings again. You can expect semi-desert temperatures, so it will be a good idea to pack a good jacket, light shirt, pants, comfortable boots, and some sunblock.
- We are permitted to hunt the whole year round but keep in mind that from October till February temperatures could reach 100 degrees or higher as it is our rainy season.
- Service of a professional hunter, tracker, skinner, and full camp staff.
- All meals (3 per day: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner), soft drinks, bottled water, local beers, and wines in moderation.
- Accommodation and transport during the safari.
- Field preparation of trophies and transport to taxidermist/forwarding agent closest to the outfitter.
- Daily Laundry Services.
- One hunting vehicle per client (1 on 1 / 2 on 1) and his observer.
- Air travel before, during, and after the hunt.
- Hotel or Guesthouse expenses before and after the safari
- Pick up and drop off at O.R. Tambo International Airport. An additional fee of $400 per trip (1-way) will be charged per group. Round trip at $800 per group.
- Gratuities to staff, professional hunters, and camp staff. (They looked after you, so look after them also).
- Animals wounded and lost will be paid in full.
- Trophyfees for extra animals taken/ wounded.
- Rifle hire at $45 per client per day, plus ammo.
- Preparation, packaging, documentation & shipping of trophies (taxidermy) from South Africa.
- Champagne, hard liquor, and specially requested imported food and drinks.
- Cost of telephone calls, and faxes made by the client.
- CITES & License fees where applicable.
- Permit fees where applicable.
- Non-Hunting (Observer) guests are most welcome but do incur an additional charge of $275 per person per day.
- The deposit we require is $1000,00 per person. This is a deductible deposit. Should you buy or harvest nothing extra, your deposit will be deducted from the final bill. This is to ensure that we recuperate at least some of our costs should you cancel on short notice. NO DEPOSIT is refundable upon cancellation. You may send someone else to replace you. Since all the hunters book far in advance (as you are doing) it is nearly impossible to fill a cancellation. Unfortunately, we cannot hold bookings anymore unless the deposit is paid well in advance. This deposit also finalizes your booking. Once we received the deposit your booking is reserved.
- The final bill MUST be settled in full on the day of departure. No departure will be allowed without settlement of the outstanding account in full.
- Any hunter can harvest more animals as per the cost on our price list. All extras will be added to the final bill.
- Please be advised that we do not accept Travelers Cheques, American Express, or Discovery Cards at the Ranch. We do however accept all other Visa and Master Cards. You must notify your bank that you are going to use your cards in South Africa
- A deposit will confirm your booking.
- All prices are subject to change.
- Nico Bresler & Lodge Managers for Limpopo Africa Safaris, Tranquility Lodge, accepts no liability for any injuries, deaths, or losses that may occur to persons or property due to negligence or conditions beyond our control.
- Clients may not carry unlawful articles or participate in any unlawful act whilst in South Africa or under the care of our company.
- Any person caught committing such an offense will be immediately expelled from the hunting party and is liable for any and or all costs involved with their repatriation. The company will under no circumstances assist such an offender in any dealings or negotiations with any authority.
- Full trophy fees will be charged for any wounded animal shot, whether retrieved or not.
- The current hunt will be suspended to go and look for the wounded animal before sunset.
- If wounded animal/s are not located, normal hunting will continue.
- General fitness.
- Be prepared for Rugged terrain, Thorny bush terrain, loose sand, and pebbles.
- No alcohol will be allowed during any hunting session and please do not litter in the veldt.
- You must always be accompanied by a guide during hunting sessions.
- No hunting will be allowed after sunset, only from daybreak to sunset.
- No hunting must be done close to fencing and border roads. Hunters will be responsible for the game that breaks through fencing to adjacent farms.
- Please do not give alcohol to the guides, only cold drinks and water are allowed.
- Each hunter must ensure that he is absolutely clear on the specie, sex, and size of the trophy of the animals. The guides and PH cannot be held responsible for any mistakes made in judgment by the hunter.
- The areas around the camps, stores, houses, and game breeding camps are declared NO HUNTING ZONES. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will hunting be allowed in these areas.
- All rifles MUST be made safe, and magazines emptied before always getting onto the hunting and game viewing vehicles and in and around the camp.
- Firearms are only allowed in the shooting range around the camping area.
- Tranquillity Lodge and its staff will not accept any responsibility for theft, accidents, injuries, or any costs arising from such events.
- The best way to experience a true African hunt is on foot – walk and stalk.
- Your Professional Hunter and tracker will be with you in the veldt guiding you in harvesting your desired animal/s.
- Shooting from the truck is not recommended as the animals tend to run away as soon as the vehicle comes to a halt.
